Policies

Please read this before you send a request.

Days and hours

Parties are on Saturdays and Sundays only, in the morning or the afternoon. Every party must be finished by 5:00 PM. A party usually lasts about 1.5 to 2.5 hours, depending on the number of guests and the activities. You can request a start time from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM, every 30 minutes. The last start is 2:30 PM so a party of up to 2.5 hours can still end by 5:00 PM.

How far ahead to request

Please request the date at least 14 days ahead when you can. You may still send a request with less notice. MV Luxury Spa will tell you whether the date is open.

Reservation deposit

The $100 reservation deposit reserves the date once MV Luxury Spa has approved the date and the payment has been received. The $100 is deducted from the package total.

When the rest is due

If the party is more than 14 days away, the remaining balance plus the $75 refundable damage deposit is due at least 14 days before the party. If the party is 14 days away or less when you book, the full payment plus the $75 refundable damage deposit is due at booking, if the date is open, together with any rush fee you have agreed to.

Rush fee

If the party is fewer than 7 days away, a $100 non-refundable rush fee may apply. It depends on availability and on how much preparation the party needs. It is not added on its own. MV Luxury Spa will tell you first, and it applies only if you agree, before the date is set.

Travel

Within 10 miles of Palm Desert, California, travel is included in the package price. Beyond 10 miles, a travel fee may apply. The rate MV Luxury Spa expects to use is $2 for each additional mile, one way, past those 10 miles. The exact fee is decided from the event address. A long trip must be approved first. This page will not charge a travel fee on its own. Any travel fee is told to you before the reservation is final, and it is charged only if you agree.

Cancellation

Cancellation more than 14 days before the party: the $100 reservation deposit and all other payments are refunded. For cancellations made within 14 days of the event, MV Luxury Spa keeps only the $100 reservation deposit and refunds all other payments, including the $75 damage deposit. A rush fee, if one was paid, stays non-refundable, as stated under Rush fee.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling is allowed with MV Luxury Spa's approval, subject to availability.

Damage deposit

Every party requires a $75 refundable damage deposit. It is not part of the $495 package price, and it is separate from the $100 reservation deposit. It is paid with the remaining balance at least 14 days before the party, or with the full payment at booking if the party is 14 days away or less. It is returned after the party if there is no damage. If there is damage, reasonable damage costs are deducted and the rest is refunded. MV Luxury Spa sends that refund by Zelle or Venmo.

I agree to the payment rules. This form is a request only. The date is not held until MV Luxury Spa approves it and the payment is received. A travel fee or a rush fee is added only after MV Luxury Spa tells me the amount and I agree.

How to pay

After MV Luxury Spa replies with the final amount, you pay by Zelle or Venmo. Both accounts belong to the owner of MV Luxury Spa. Do not send money with this form.
